Whether you want to practice sports outdoors or at home, there are a plethora of applications available for download. Paid and free, there is something for all budgets, tastes and levels.
Best Sports Apps 2023
We have selected the best running, fitness and yoga apps for iOS and Android for you.
1- Strava
1- Strava
Strava is certainly the most complete sports application. With it, you can retrieve your training statistics (speed, altitude, calories, etc.), create new routes and challenge other athletes.
Thanks to its sharing platform, you discover routes that you have never taken before and can post the most beautiful photos of your bike rides.
With the Beacon feature, even share your location in real time with your loved ones, especially in the event of an emergency.
Whatever sport you practice (running, walking, swimming, yoga, kayaking…), the Strava app will make you a real athlete by pushing you to surpass yourself, reach your goals and beat those of the others.
To take advantage of the Fitness option and other advanced features, subscribe to Summit for €5.99/month, after a 30-day free trial.
2- TrainSweatEat
Created by fitness YouTuber SissyMua, the TrainSweatEat application aims to motivate those who are most reluctant to sport and to offer advanced training for the most seasoned.
The workouts are offered in real-time video format with Sissy and experts in each discipline.
There are very complete programs, established according to your level and your different objectives. For better monitoring of your results, you can add before/after photos, enter your measurements and your weight.
Among the exercises offered, you will find cardio, fitness, weight training, kickboxing, yoga, pilates, meditation and dance.
As a free download on iOS and Android, several subscriptions are offered, from 5.50 euros to 14.90 euros per month, depending on the duration of the commitment.
3- Trail Connect
The Trail Connect application accompanies you during your competition training.
It offers a lot of advanced features, such as a geolocation system, to guide you on the map, or a list of routes accessible in France, Switzerland and Belgium.
For security reasons, and thus avoid getting lost, it is possible to share your position, issue an alert when you leave your path and, in the worst case, contact the emergency services.
If you want, you can also save your races and try new ones based on those already tested by other trailers.
