The official Apple Watches care instructions recommend using a dry, lint-free cloth for daily cleaning. If your watch needs more thorough cleaning, remove special straps (leather, for example), then wipe it with a damp cloth or rinse it with warm water. When you’re done, dry it thoroughly before wearing.

You can also clean the digital crown under running water, by turning it and squeezing it while the water is running over it to remove any accumulated dirt. Again, dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth, making sure to absorb any water that has collected between the crown and the watch case.

If you use one of Apple’s silicone bands, you can clean it with mild, hypoallergenic soap and water.

Garmin recommends cleaning the outside of the watch case with a wipe containing 70% isopropyl alcohol or a disinfectant wipe, but it is advisable to rinse and dry it afterwards to avoid irritate your skin.
